Today we picked up our campervan, our home away from home for the next 4 weeks. We came back to the caravan park and moved all of our belongins into the van.

We then drove over to a shopping centre and were amazed to discover that none of the shops were open. Only the picture theaters were open and we walked around feeling quite distressed that in Perth on a Sunday nothing is open.

Not too worried about it really, we headed back to the van park for a rest and then we went out to the picture theatre to see the new Narnia movie, Prince Caspian. It was great

Our first night in the campervan was pretty easy and comfortable. Just wanted to list some of the differences we've noticed here in Perth so far:

  • shops don't open on Sundays
  • seats are allocated in the picture theatres
  • tourist attractions close early in the afternoon
